There are four distinct mailing list tiers available for subscription:
- MINIMAL: This tier exclusively sends emails when the next DELTARUNE Chapter is scheduled for release.
- NORMAL: Subscribers to this tier receive the seasonal newsletter for both UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE, covering game-related news and events, such as the DELTARUNE Spamton Sweepstakes.
- SUPER: This tier includes all the updates from the “NORMAL” tier, plus information on any new content Toby Fox is developing, including original songs.
- TRUCK FREAK: This comprehensive tier encompasses all types of content, including unique occurrences like the “Foam Shower Tier” from April 1, 2023.
Newsletter Content and Archive
Most newsletters are structured into three main sections: DELTARUNE News, Collaborations, and Merchandise, often with additional content. Themed sprites and artwork featuring characters from UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE, created by Temmie Chang, are used to complement each newsletter.
An archive of all released newsletters is available on Toby Fox’s Fangamer webpage. These archived newsletters are categorized under the “Truck Freak” tier and are organized with the newest entries at the top and older ones at the bottom. It’s worth noting that some content in the archived versions may be slightly altered compared to the original email versions.
Past newsletter issues include:
- ISSUE 1 - Winter 2022: Released December 20, 2022. Featured a news recap due to limited development updates, summarizing the Spamton Sweepstakes and the September 2022 Status Update. Toby Fox mentioned two “endings” for the Spamton Sweepstakes, with details on the alternate ending (“Silence”) and its creation process to be shared later. It also included behind-the-scenes photos of wayneradiotv in Spamton attire and new character art by Toby Fox (fridge Mettaton, bean Sans, and a miniature Starwalker). This issue also reaffirmed that special events might occur on UNDERTALE’s anniversary (September 15, 2015).

Issues 1 and 2 also contained “Seasonal Comics,” which were initially planned as a recurring feature. These comics appear to be a stretch goal from the UNDERTALE Kickstarter campaign. Toby Fox has also shared information on his collaborations, such as two interview articles for Famitsu, a Japanese gaming magazine, titled “Toby Fox’s Secret Base,” and his cover illustration for a previous Famitsu magazine. He also mentioned “Skies Forever Blue,” an original song created with Itoki Hana.
